Job description

Act as a technical expert for Splunk Observability Cloud solutions. Design and implement monitoring and observability strategies for enterprise applications. Create and maintain custom searches, alerts, and reports using SPL. Define best practices for Splunk deployment, configuration, and administration. Monitor system performance and optimize resource utilization. Collaborate with cross functional teams to gather requirements and deliver observability solutions. Integrate Splunk Observability Cloud with tools such as ServiceNow, Jenkins, and AWS. Provide architectural guidance and mentoring to internal teams. Coordinate integration of Splunk with existing infrastructure and applications. Implement advanced search, reporting, and analytics capabilities. Support infrastructure instrumentation into Splunk Observability Cloud. Troubleshoot complex issues in distributed and high volume systems.

Requirements

We are seeking a Splunk Observability Cloud Engineer with strong expertise in monitoring, observability, and performance optimization. The role focuses on designing and implementing observability solutions, enabling proactive monitoring, and improving system reliability across enterprise environments.

The ideal candidate will have hands on experience with Splunk Observability Cloud, strong knowledge of SPL, and the ability to collaborate with cross functional teams to deliver scalable monitoring solutions., Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.

Experience

8-10 years of overall IT experience. 5+ years of hands on experience with Splunk Observability Cloud.

Technical Skills

Strong expertise in Splunk Observability Cloud. Proficiency in SPL for search, alerting, and reporting. Experience with cloud platforms and infrastructure monitoring. Knowledge of operating systems and database environments. Experience integrating tools such as ServiceNow, Jenkins, and AWS. Experience in infrastructure instrumentation and monitoring setup. Strong understanding of observability practices and performance monitoring.

Soft Skills

Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Excellent communication skills for technical and non technical stakeholders. Ability to work collaboratively with cross functional teams. Ability to lead discussions and represent solutions to clients.

Preferred Qualifications

Splunk certifications such as Splunk Certified Architect, Splunk Cloud Certified Admin, or Splunk Core Certified Power User. Experience working in large scale enterprise environments. Experience leading observability initiatives and mentoring teams.
