Job description

We are looking for a Dynamics 365 Business Central Consultant to help maintain, support, and enhance an established Business Central environment. This position is centered on functional support, system configuration, process improvement, user enablement, and reporting. The consultant will partner closely with internal teams to address system issues, implement improvements, and ensure Business Central is being used efficiently across the organization., * Serve as the primary functional resource for Dynamics 365 Business Central, providing ongoing system assistance, issue investigation, and user support.

  • Evaluate existing business workflows and identify opportunities to streamline operations using Business Central capabilities.
  • Configure and maintain Business Central settings across core functional areas such as Finance, Purchasing, Inventory Management, Sales, and Operations.
  • Conduct user training sessions focused on role-based processes, new functionality, and updates to existing workflows.
  • Create and maintain documentation including user manuals, training guides, process flows, and reference materials.
  • Work with business users to define requirements for new features, reports, and workflow enhancements.
  • Coordinate with technical resources on integrations, light customizations, and data fixes as needed.
  • Perform data-related activities including data imports, updates, validation, reconciliation, and cleanup.
  • Support analytical and reporting needs using native Business Central tools and Power BI where applicable.
  • Track system performance trends, diagnose recurring problems, and propose corrective actions or process improvements.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience supporting or consulting on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or Dynamics NAV.
  • Solid functional knowledge of key Business Central areas such as Finance, Inventory, Purchasing, Sales, or Operations.
  • Proven experience managing support tickets, resolving system issues, and implementing configuration changes.
  • Strong ability to convert business requirements into functional solutions while minimizing the need for custom development.
  • Experience developing training content and delivering training to business users.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to document processes and work effectively with stakeholders.
  • Microsoft Dynamics Business Central certifications are a plus, but not required.
