Job description
We're looking for a high-impact Data Engineer with strong experience in healthcare eligibility and membership data to help build and scale a modern data platform in Microsoft Fabric.
What You'll Do
- Design and maintain scalable eligibility data pipelines (ingestion ? transformation ? integration)
- Build solutions using Fabric Lakehouse, Warehouse, Data Pipelines, SQL, and Python
- Ensure data quality, compliance (HIPAA), and reliable delivery for analytics and integrations
- Develop data models and enable reporting via Power BI
- Troubleshoot complex data issues and improve platform performance
- Collaborate with Product, Analytics, and Engineering teams
Requirements
- 5+ years in Data Engineering
- Strong SQL and data modeling expertise
- Experience with healthcare eligibility/membership data
- Hands-on with Microsoft Fabric or Azure data platforms
- Solid understanding of data pipelines, integrations, and troubleshooting
Nice to Have
- Power BI (DAX, semantic models)
- Azure tools (ADF, Synapse, SQL Server)
- Knowledge of eligibility structures (PBP, carve-outs, exclusions)
- CI/CD and data engineering best practices
