Job description
- Deploys, automates, maintains, and manages AWS and/or Azure infrastructure to ensure security, performance, and availability of production systems.
- Supports the effort to build and maintain continuous integration, continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines and private Terraform modules.
- Manages configuration and deployment of large server clusters using Terraform, Serverless Framework, and Cloud Formation.
- Creates and presents AWS and/or Azure or technology solutions or designs, logical and physical diagrams, review architecture diagrams with development teams.
- Collaborates with infrastructure engineering and application management to resolve production issues that impact user experience and overall application health.
- Identifies root causes on critical problems throughout the platform, incident reports and the organization of the engineering team members in steps to resolve issues.
- Commits to success of delivery team. Assists team members in any activities needed to drive successful outcomes.
- Regularly reviews existing systems and makes recommendations for improvements.

For example, as we grow volume in recycling and waste, we collect additional material to bolster our circularity capabilities. And as we expand environmental solutions, we drive additional opportunities to provide these services to our existing recycling and waste customers.
Recycling and Waste
We continue to expand our recycling and waste business footprint throughout North America through organic growth and targeted acquisitions. The 13 million customers we serve and our more than 5 million pick-ups per day provide us with a distinct advantage. We aggregate materials at scale, unlocking new opportunities for advanced recycling. In addition, we are cross-selling new products and services to better meet our customers' specific needs.
Requirements
- 3 years' experience in continuous integration and continuous deployment.
- 4 years' experience with software development lifecycle or process flow and analysis.
- 4 years' experience with security and DevSecOps, helping to promote security in software development and operations.
- 2 years' experience with automation/configuration management using the following:
- Amazon Web Services (ServiceCatalog, EventBridge, Lambda, etc)
- Azure (ARM templates, JSON, PowerShell, Terraform, etc)
- Terraform, Serverless framework & CloudFormation
- Docker, bash, Linux
- git, GitHub, JavaScript/NodeJS (TS), NPM (package management), * 4 years of software development or automation architecture experience.
- 2 years of experience in a Cloud Engineer role with Amazon Web Services and/or Azure.
- 2 years of experience using Agile/Scrum methodology.
Benefits & conditions
This role operates on Arizona business hours (MST), regardless of the employee's physical location.
Pay range: $90,800- $124,850.00 DOE
