Job description
We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer 3 to join our team in designing, developing, and maintaining automation and document intelligence solutions. The position will focus on transforming large, complex data sources and automating business processes, particularly around document ingestion and processing. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in solution design, automation development, document processing, and collaboration across teams in a fast-paced Agile (Kanban/Scrum) environment. This contractor role will work with robotics and document processing technologies, including Blue Prism, Microsoft Power Automate, Azure, and PDF/document processing frameworks., * Study information needs, conferring with users, and analyzing systems flow, data usage, and work processes to develop software solutions.
- Investigate problem areas and provide solutions based on system specifications, standards, and programming.
- Design and develop automation solutions that help transform large, multi-hundred-page PDFs and data packages into structured, navigable, and actionable intake artifacts.
- Develop and support RPA (Robotic Process Automation) solutions using Blue Prism for both attended and unattended bots.
- Integrate RPA solutions with APIs, RESTful web services, and SQL databases.
- Build and develop reports and documents based on both structured and unstructured data.
- Design and implement analytics solutions based on structured/unstructured data sources.
- Work with cross-functional teams to collaborate on infrastructure, automation, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- 8 years of hands-on experience in RPA development, with at least 4 years of experience using Blue Prism (attended and unattended bots, including web interaction).
- 8 years of experience with RPA integration with APIs and databases, including RESTful web services and SQL DBs.
- 8 years of experience in developing reports and documents based on structured/unstructured data.
- 8 years of experience in building analytics solutions based on structured/unstructured data.
- 4 years of experience with Azure infrastructure, including troubleshooting and development.
- 4 years of experience with Power Automate, including Power Automate Desktop and Cloud Flows.
- 4 years of proficiency in Java programming language.
- 4 years of experience with Power BI and SQL.
- 4 years of experience with Azure AI/Cognitive Search.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Blue Prism Certification.
- Microsoft Power Platform Developer Certification.
