Job description
- You will work closely with other developers, system architects, and business analysts to deliver solutions, primarily using Pega PRPC and other Pega frameworks.
- Participate in the design and development of Pega applications based on business requirements.
- Collaborate with business analysts and business teams to create and refine business processes.
- Translate business requirements into Pega solutions and ensure that the application aligns with the business needs.
- Develop and implement best practices for design, development, and code reviews.
- Document and maintain software functionality for future reference and upgrades.
- Conduct unit testing to ensure the functionality and performance of the application.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues promptly to ensure smooth deployment of the application.
- Provide support during system testing, user acceptance testing, and post-deployment.
- Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders to ensure effective implementation.
- Participate in project planning and provide updates on work status regularly.
Requirements
You are:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Pega LSA both Part 1 and Part 2 certification.
- Proven experience in developing enterprise-level applications using Pega PRPC.
- Strong knowledge of Pega software design principles, best practices, and architectural frameworks.
- Proficiency in Pega Rules Process Commander, Java, and other technologies that integrate with Pega.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data to identify potential issues.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Preferred, but not required:
Financial domain experience preferred.

The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Pittsburgh, PA/ Dallas TX is $125k - $130k/year & benefits (see below)., * A highly competitive compensation and benefits package.
