Job description
- Serve as technical Subject Matter Expert (SME) for assigned applications within the HR Technology portfolio
- Partner and collaborate with business partners and/or key stakeholders within our Center of Excellence (COE) teams to provide guidance on innovative design and utilization, assisting them with achieving their strategic business goals
- Has deep knowledge of HR, Payroll and Timekeeping functions, allowing the ability to work cross functionally on a variety of projects and tasks assigned
- As Tier III level support, provide day to day support, analyze, and troubleshoot technical issues to provide prompt remediation
- Responsible for the administration, performance, and maintenance of the system applications assigned
- Provide technical support and partner with developers on the design of system integrations
- Engage and collaborate effectively with key stakeholders to maintain ongoing partnership with continuous improvement and innovative mindset, working to apply knowledge and strategies to meet demands
- Effectively Project Manage mid to large size projects using agile methodologies within designated timelines
- Conduct intake and translation of business requirements into processes and systems that drive efficient and consistent execution
- Design and execute testing strategies and plans, including the creation of detailed test scripts for QA and Regression testing
- Develop and maintain high-quality technical documentation such as SOWs, SOPs, System User Guides, etc.
- Facilitate software releases; oversee implementation timelines, vendor partnership and internal coordination of activities with key stakeholders to ensure no impacts to our end-user population
- Create and maintain reports for COEs using Cognos Business Intelligence while having a strong aptitude of data analytics and ability to work with multiple data sources
- Maintain data integrity in systems through creation of appropriate configuration controls, standards and processes, as well as regular audits of data
- Regularly analyze work process design and flow to drive improvement in system functionality and user experience; create forms and workflows as necessary
- Participate in other projects or tasks as assigned
Requirements
The HR Technologist will serve as a consultant and technical SME for our Center of Excellence teams with the ability to work cross functionally within our HR/Payroll/Timekeeping systems portfolio, with strong expertise in our UKG Suite of Products. The HR Technologist will be an analytical thinker who is organized, detail oriented and is or will become a UKG Pro system expert., * Bachelor's degree in computer science or information technology preferred, or equivalent experience
- 4-6 years' experience working with information technologies and systems analysis utilizing an enterprise-wide HR system or multiple systems
- Solid understanding of UKG Products preferred (or other similar HCM/HR/Payroll/Timekeeping systems)
- Organized, detail oriented and able to multi-task in fast paced environment
- Strong MS Excel Skills, including formulas, pivot tables and v-lookups
- Cognos Business Intelligence experience preferred (or similar report writing tools)
- SQL experience preferred
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Self-starter, requiring minimal supervision
- Excellent documentation, presentation, customer service, and problem-solving skills
- Extensive data gathering and data processing skills
Benefits & conditions
The pay range for this position is $102,300 to $147,050. The actual base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge and work location. In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible to participate in a performance-based bonus plan and to receive restricted stock unit awards as part of total compensation.
