Job description

A leading hospital is seeking an experienced Epic ASAP Analyst to support emergency department (ED) systems and workflows within a healthcare environment. This role focuses on the configuration, optimization, and ongoing support of Epic ASAP modules, ensuring efficient patient flow, accurate documentation, and effective tracking of emergency care activities., * Configure, build, and maintain Epic ASAP modules

  • Support emergency department workflows, including triage, tracking boards, and patient throughput
  • Collaborate with ED clinicians, nursing staff, and IT teams to gather requirements and implement system enhancements
  • Optimize workflows to improve patient flow and operational efficiency
  • Perform system testing, including unit, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT)
  • Troubleshoot system issues and workflow inefficiencies
  • Assist with system upgrades, enhancements, and go-live support
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and documentation standards
  • Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations and workflows
  • Provide ongoing support and training to end users

Requirements

  • Epic ASAP Certification (required)
  • 3+ years of experience supporting Epic ASAP or emergency department systems
  • Strong understanding of ED workflows, including triage and patient tracking
  • Experience with system build, configuration, and testing
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, * Experience working in hospital or large healthcare environments
  • Familiarity with emergency department performance metrics and patient throughput optimization
  • Experience supporting Epic upgrades, enhancements, and optimization initiatives
