Job description
The Department of Computer Systems Technology ( CST ) invites applications for Part-Time Instructors for Spring 2026, or Fall 2026. Part-Time Instructors are hired on a semester-by-semester basis to teach a variety of courses in electronics technology, information technology, and computer system technology programs. This is a temporary position. The successful candidate is expected to teach introductory and advanced level courses by the Department of Computer Systems Technology. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: teach face-to-face and/or online courses, attend training and/or review sessions. Additional duties will include, but are not limited to, academic advising of students, supporting student organizations, and participating in program development and assessment. The candidate will be expected to work cooperatively with faculty and staff in the department and university., National average Part time Jobs average North Carolina average
Requirements
Candidates must have a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, and Information Technology, or a related field at the time of application.
Preferred Years Experience, Skills, Training, Education Candidates with minimum of one year teaching experience at the University or Community College level and with related industrial experience.
