Job description

Are you driven to build and operate high-performance networks that support mission-critical systems? We're seeking a Lead Network Engineer who excels at the intersection of networking and automation to help shape and support a secure, scalable global infrastructure across both on-premise and cloud environments.

This role is ideal for a hands-on engineer who enjoys designing forward-thinking solutions, solving complex challenges, and collaborating across teams to deliver reliable, high-performing connectivity.

What You'll Do

  • Design, deploy, and support enterprise network infrastructure across data centres and cloud platforms
  • Configure and optimize routing, switching, firewalls, load balancers, and related technologies
  • Drive the evolution of hybrid networking strategies aligned with security and governance best practices
  • Lead troubleshooting efforts for complex network issues, working closely with vendors and internal stakeholders
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, implementation plans, and architecture roadmaps
  • Participate in an on-call rotation to ensure ongoing network performance and reliability

Requirements

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly explain technical concepts to varied audiences
  • A collaborative, solution-oriented mindset with a focus on efficiency and outcomes
  • Experience leading projects and mentoring team members in dynamic environments

Technical Expertise

  • Proven experience with automation and DevOps tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, and GitHub
  • Strong understanding of Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) principles and practices
  • Hands-on experience with cloud networking (AWS ; Azure or GCP also considered)
  • Deep knowledge of Layer 3 networking, including protocols such as BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP
  • Experience with Cisco platforms (IOS, NX-OS, XR)
  • Familiarity with DNS/IPAM, VPNs, NAC, firewalls, DDoS protection, and packet analysis
  • Experience with Cisco ACI is essential
  • Background supporting mainframe and storage network environments is required

  • Competitive salary: $140,000 - $170,000
  • Annual bonus: 15%
