Job DescriptionJob Description

We're seeking an AI/ML Engineer & Data Scientist to build ML solutions, develop scalable data pipelines, and improve information discovery and decision-making. You'll work with structured and unstructured data, support digitization/cataloging workflows, and contribute to intelligent search and automation capabilities.

This position is contingent upon contract award and requires U.S. citizenship to be eligible for a Public Trust. Direct hire only.

What You'll Do

  • Develop data models and analytics that generate actionable insights.
  • Build and refine ML/NLP models (document understanding, classification, ranking, embeddings, search relevance).
  • Create data ingestion/transformation pipelines for structured and unstructured content.
  • Use cloud services for storage, indexing, model deployment, and scalable processing.
  • Apply workflow-simulation and modeling techniques to optimize operations.
  • Develop AI-enabled tools (chatbots, wizards) including prompt orchestration and human-in-the-loop support.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or related field (Master's ).
  • 3+ years with Python, ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn), and cloud platforms (Azure or AWS).
  • Experience with Azure AI Services and LLMs.
  • Background in NLP and search/retrieval strategies.
  • Familiarity with MLOps (deployment, monitoring, CI/CD).
  • Knowledge of ML/data security and federal data privacy requirements.
  • U.S. citizenship required.
