Job description
NEP Group is seeking a Senior Network Engineer / Network Architect to help grow, secure, and maintain our global network infrastructure. In this highly visible role, you'll support a multi-location LAN/WAN environment with enterprise-level availability requirements while helping design and integrate networks that support future growth, acquisitions, and evolving technologies. What You'll Do: Maintain and support a multi-location LAN/WAN and converged network environment, meeting high availability and uptime standards Manage global network administration, including configuration, maintenance, security, and telecom implementations Partner with global broadcast teams to understand their environments and ensure seamless connectivity to the corporate network Design and evolve network architecture, including LAN/WAN, wireless, data center networking, security, and remote access (VPN / ZTNA) Support network and voice integrations related to acquisitions and business expansion Plan, test, and implement network upgrades and enhancements in collaboration with vendors Maintain network security controls, access policies, and technical documentation Collaborate with IT teams across the globe to integrate and manage shared network environments Provide third-tier technical support for complex network issues Participate in on-call support rotations, with occasional travel to NEP locations as needed
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience CCNA certification or equivalent hands-on experience 10+ years of network engineering experience, including at least 3 years in a senior or lead role Significant hands-on experience with: Fortinet firewalls Cisco switching and routing ZTNA and secure remote access environments Expert knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF) Experience supporting AWS cloud networking Familiarity with network management and monitoring tools such as Entuity, FortiManager, and NetBox Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders A customer-focused mindset with strong problem-solving and analytical abilities You might not know our name, but you've probably seen our work - on stage, on screen or on the field.
