Job description

  • Manage AWS infrastructure to ensure system reliability, scalability, and security.
  • Coordinate OS patching (Linux/RedHat) and conduct performance optimization.
  • Implement monitoring, alerting, and capacity planning strategies.
  • Coordinate disaster recovery (DR) and Continuity of Operations (COOP) activities.
  • Oversee backup infrastructure coordination and enforce security hardening measures.
  • Plan for downtime and environment management to ensure high system availability.
  • Support cost optimization initiatives and develop automation (IaC, scripts) where applicable.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure with a Bachelor's degree.
  • Proficiency in AWS services including EC2, VPC, S3, and CloudWatch.
  • Experience with infrastructure monitoring, networking, security, and OS patching (Linux/RedHat).
  • Knowledge of disaster recovery and COOP planning.
  • Desired: AWS Solutions Architect certification.
