Job description

You will design, secure, and advance enterprise, cloud, and on-prem network security capabilities. This role provides senior technical leadership across network security architecture, automation, and risk mitigation, partnering closely with business, risk, and technology teams to deliver secure, scalable, and resilient connectivity.

What will you do:

  • Define and maintain the security roadmap for enterprise and end-user network security platforms, including secure web gateway, URL filtering and proxy, Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA), next-generation firewalls, load balancers, and AI-enabled security capabilities.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in enterprise network technologies, including next-generation firewalls, load balancers, network segmentation platforms, DMZ architectures, and routing and switching security controls.
  • Define, review, and assess security controls for on-prem and hybrid network environments, including ingress and egress filtering, traffic inspection, segmentation, and exposure management.
  • Partner with Network Engineering teams to ensure secure design and operation of on-prem data center, campus, and regional network environments.
  • Partner with Cloud Security, Network Engineering, and Architecture teams to deliver secure hybrid and public cloud connectivity, including client, partner, and external service connectivity.
  • Provide cloud network security expertise across AWS, Azure, GCP, and including ingress, egress, and transit controls and define / enforce network security policies, standards, and reference architectures across on-prem, hybrid, and cloud environments.
  • Develop and maintain reference architectures, standard configurations, implementation procedures, and automation to ensure consistent and secure network and cloud deployments.
  • Leverage automation, orchestration, and AI-driven capabilities to improve policy enforcement, threat detection, operational efficiency/response times across network security platforms and identify network and perimeter security risks using data-driven and AI-assisted analysis, and drive prioritized, risk-based remediation strategies.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in enterprise network and network security engineering roles.
  • Deep expertise in large-scale corporate network environments, including expert-level knowledge of routing, switching, and core network protocols along with next-generation firewalls, load balancers, network segmentation, and perimeter security architectures.
  • Proven experience securing on-prem, hybrid, and public cloud network environments.
  • Strong background defining security controls, standards, and reference architectures for enterprise networks.
  • Demonstrated experience designing and supporting client, partner, and external connectivity in regulated environments.
  • Experience with infrastructure and security automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and Python.
  • Proven experience leveraging AI-enabled network or security platforms, analytics, or SOAR capabilities. And experience driving automation and standardization across network and security platforms.
  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, IT Security, or a related field, and/or an equivalent combination of education, relevant experience, and/or military experience., * Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE)
  • AWS Certified Advanced Networking - Specialty or AWS Certified Security - Specialty
  • Google Professional Cloud Network Engineer
  • Zscaler ZIA, ZPA, or ZSE Certification, * This is a full-time, direct-hire position, and no contract options or unsolicited agency submissions will be considered.
  • You must currently possess valid and unrestricted U.S. work authorization to be considered for this role. Benefits & conditions

$127,500.00 - $204,000.00

These pay ranges apply to employees in New Jersey and New York. Pay ranges for employees in other states may differ.

For incentive eligible associates, the successful candidate is eligible for an annual incentive opportunity which may be delivered as a mix of cash bonus and equity awards in the Company's sole discretion.
