Software Engineer, Platform - Winston-Salem, NC, USA

The Software Engineer, Platform plays a critical role in building and maintaining the backend services that power key components such as payments, analytics, subscriptions, text-to-speech, and external APIs. The position requires strategic thinking and the ability to contribute to product decisions in a fast-paced environment. This role is essential for delivering scalable and performant backend solutions that enhance user experience and support the organization's growth.

3. Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust APIs including public text-to-speech APIs and internal services like Payment, Subscription, Authentication, and Consumption Tracking

• Manage and optimize the backend API ecosystem for performance and maintainability

• Collaborate on B2B solutions tailored for enterprise client integration and customization

• Work closely with cross-functional teams to align backend architecture with product strategy and user experience

• Proven backend development experience with TypeScript and Node.js (required)

• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform and familiarity with AWS, Azure, or other cloud providers

• Ability to prioritize tasks based on urgency and impact, demonstrating efficiency in ideation and execution

• Preferred: Experience with Docker and containerized deployments

• Preferred: Experience deploying high availability applications on Kubernetes

5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:

• The United States based salary range for this role is 140,000 to 200,000 USD per year, plus bonus and stock options depending on experience
