Job description
Raytheon is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer, providing enterprise-wide systems engineering and integration support to an operational government customer within the Intelligence Community. This position manages moderately sized projects or processes with minimal oversight and provides measurable input to new products, processes, or standards in operational plans to implement customer integrations and/or objectives. The position works in a SCIF environment with flexible work hours to accommodate work/life balance practices. Location: Colorado Springs, CO (Denver area)
What You Will Do

Provides systems engineering and integration support to assess, plan, coordinate, schedule and implement projects from inception through system transition.

Problems and issues faced can fluctuate and require detailed information gathering, analysis and investigation to understand the problem and determine appropriate resolution.

Communicates with many levels of program, other contractor and government stakeholders and works to positively influence parties within and outside of the job function at an operational level regarding policies, procedures, and practices.

Manage system integration projects and provide reliable data to the Customer enabling them to make informed decisions regarding the installation, integration checkout and test of operational system modifications and upgrades.
Requirements

Typically requires a Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM preferred) and a minimum of 5 years of prior engineering experience or equivalent experience.

Experience with Systems installation, integration, and test experience.

Experience with Engineering technical and project management.

Experience with internal and external customers in a team environment (Government, Military, SETA, and Contractor.)

Experience with Request For Change (RFC) impact reviews and assessment experience.

An active and transferable TS/SCI CI Poly U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for the required security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer

Experienced with Customer NSIS and/or rapid delivery methods.

Customer relationships.

Experience working across contract and location boundaries.

Experience with Atlassian JIRA and Confluence beneficial.
Benefits & conditions
The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
