Job description
As an HR Application Support Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of multiple Human Resources (HR) applications. In this role, you'll analyze system issues, partner closely with IT teams and external vendors, and help resolve technical problems that impact HR operations. You will also support system upgrades and migrations while identifying opportunities to improve HR technology processes and service delivery.
What You Will Do:
- Provide day-to-day support and maintenance for a portfolio of HR applications
- Analyze user requests, diagnose system issues, research solutions, and resolve technical problems across HRIT-supported applications
- Serve as a liaison between HR and IT teams and act as a primary point of contact for the HRIT function
- Collaborate with Application Management Services vendors to resolve issues and identify enhancement opportunities
- Manage incident and problem tickets related to HR applications, ensuring timely resolution and clear communication
- Independently handle complex application and technical issues while driving process improvements
- Identify risks and opportunities and recommend process changes to enhance HR service delivery
- Perform integrated testing of system components, requiring careful planning and execution to ensure high-quality outcomes
- Partner with application owners to define project scope, estimate effort and cost, and obtain required approvals
- Support end users through documentation, training, and usability initiatives
Requirements
HR Application & Systems Support: Experience supporting, maintaining, and troubleshooting HR-related applications, including incident management, system upgrades, and migrations across integrated HRIT environments.
Technical Analysis & Problem Resolution: Strong ability to analyze user requests, identify root causes, research solutions, and independently resolve complex application and technical issues.
Programming, Automation & Emerging Technologies: Working knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, and .NET, with exposure to or willingness to learn automation tools (Power Automate, UiPath, Automation Anywhere) and AI-enabled HR technologies.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Communication: Proven ability to act as a liaison between HR, IT, and third-party vendors, translating business requirements into technical solutions and building effective working relationships.
Process Improvement & Enterprise Delivery: Experience identifying risks and opportunities, recommending process improvements, supporting integrated testing efforts, and operating within enterprise standards including security and data architecture principles.

- Bring a passion for technology and continuous learning, especially within the evolving HR technology landscape
- Have automation (RPA) experience or a strong willingness to learn tools such as Microsoft Flow, Automation Anywhere, or UiPath
- Possess experience building AI agents or AI-enabled HR tools
- Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with business partners and vendors
- Have an understanding of, or willingness to learn, Snowflake architecture and design patterns
- Bring knowledge of enterprise security processes
