Apptad-Splunk Admin

We are seeking a skilled Splunk Administrator to manage, maintain, and optimize our Splunk environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring high availability, performance, and security of Splunk infrastructure while supporting data onboarding, monitoring, and analytics needs across the organization., * Install, configure, and maintain Splunk Enterprise environments

• Manage Splunk architecture, including indexers, search heads, and forwarders
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal uptime
• Perform data onboarding, parsing, and indexing from multiple data sources
• Implement and manage Splunk apps, dashboards, and alerts
• Optimize searches, reports, and dashboards for performance
• Manage role-based access control and user permissions
• Support incident response and root cause analysis using Splunk

• Strong experience with Splunk Enterprise administration
• Hands-on experience with Splunk components (Indexer, Search Head, Forwarder)
• Knowledge of Linux/Unix and Windows systems administration
• Experience with scripting languages (Python, Shell, or PowerShell)
• Understanding of log management, monitoring, and alerting concepts
• Familiarity with networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, SSL)
• Experience in troubleshooting and performance tuning

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)

• $24.00 per hour
