Python Developer

• Analyze, define, and maintain hospital payer contracts using Contract Manager software.
• Interpret complex contract provisions and reimbursement methodologies across Medicare, Medicaid, Workers Compensation, and commercial payers.
• Extract and configure contract terms accurately based on client-submitted data.
• Research payer websites and regulatory sources to stay updated on reimbursement policies and adjudication rules.
• Validate and troubleshoot system-generated valuations against claims and estimates.
• Reconcile discrepancies related to data entry errors or policy interpretation.
• Ensure contract configurations align with payer agreements and client intent.
• Respond to valuation-related support cases within defined SLA timelines.
• Participate in internal and client meetings for issue resolution and project alignment.
• Contribute to process improvements to enhance accuracy and reduce manual effort.

• Strong knowledge of reimbursement methodologies and payer contract structures.
• Proficiency in coding systems including CPT, HCPCS, DRG, Revenue Codes, Occurrence Codes, and ICD-10.
• Experience with hospital billing, claims management, and adjudication processes.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and deductive reasoning skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.

Required Experience:

• 8 10 years of overall experience.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in the hospital industry with payer contracts and reimbursement methodologies., * Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field., * High School Diploma or GED required.
