Job description
Our client is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer with relevant system architecture development experience to join our team. You'll be working across space, ground, and user segment organizations to coordinate and identify system requirements and key performance parameters to ensure end-to-end mission performance requirements are met. This individual will integrally work with the Space Force Space System Commands Military Communication and Positioning Navigation and Timing (PNT) (MilComm & PNT) portfolio to make sure next-gen GPS capabilities stay resilient against modern threats.
The proposed salary range for this position is $150,000 - $200,000. There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, geographic location, education, and certifications.
RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide technical expertise and systems integration support to ensure an optimal integrated GPS System design

Contribute to the overarching approach and processes for integrating, synchronizing, tracking and analyzing dependencies across programmatic and organizational boundaries

Develop engineering and data models and populate them with up-to-date information to enable automated integration analyses

Provide technical support for test activities that characterize system performance
Requirements
Clearance: Active Secret Clearance
Education and Years of Experience: Bachelor's degree in engineering, mathematics, physics or equivalent technical discipline and nine (9) years of systems integration and systems engineering related or equivalent experience

Experience working across space, ground, and user segment organizations to coordinate and identify system requirements and key performance parameters to ensure end-to-end mission performance requirements are met

Experience with system architecture development

Strong interpersonal skills to enable working, interfacing, and interrelating with diverse personnel and dynamic teams

Must be able to work well in multi-team setting, and willing to take on additional technical and administrative tasks/duties as needed

Space vehicle as well as other GPS related experience
PREFFERED ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

Active Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance

Space vehicle communication as well as other GPS related experience

Experience and familiarity working with DoD acquisition organizations

Experience and familiarity working with DoD acquisition organizations on an ACAT I / II program
-
Experience working specifically on a SE&I contract

Military experience
