Job description
As a Senior UI/UX Designer, you will own end-to-end design of pixel-perfect, intuitive interfaces across web and native mobile apps - from research and wireframes through high-fidelity prototypes and developer handoff. You will build and evolve our Figma design system and leverage Figma Make and AI-assisted tooling to ship faster without compromising craft.
This role is with a product-based company, which means you will own design for products we build, ship, and iterate on ourselves - not client work. We expect deep fluency in typography, color, grid, iconography, responsive layout, WCAG accessibility, and platform guidelines (iOS HIG, Material Design).
Key Responsibilities:
UI/UX Design & Delivery
-
Lead end-to-end product design - research, wireframes, user flows, high-fidelity UI, prototypes, and dev handoff.
-
Ship pixel-perfect, responsive interfaces for web and mobile that hold up across breakpoints, platforms, and edge cases.
-
Translate complex requirements into elegant, scalable UI consistent with brand and accessibility standards.
Figma Components & Design Systems
-
Build and govern a Figma design system using auto-layout, variants, component properties, variables, modes (light/dark, density, brand), and nested components.
-
Architect reusable component libraries with clear naming, documentation, versioning, and library publishing.
-
Own design tokens (color, type, spacing, radius, elevation) and keep them aligned with the front-end implementation.
Figma Make & AI-Powered Workflow
-
Use Figma Make to rapidly prototype and iterate - turning concepts into interactive prototypes in hours, not weeks.
-
Leverage AI-assisted tooling for first drafts, content variants, accessibility audits, and faster handoff - with quality guardrails so craft is never diluted.
Collaboration, Quality & Innovation
-
Partner with PMs, engineers, and stakeholders; lead reviews, give critique, and mentor junior designers.
-
Conduct user research and usability testing; fold findings back into the design.
-
Ensure WCAG 2.1 AA compliance, ARIA correctness, and cross-browser / cross-platform performance. Run UI audits and drive fixes.
Requirements
-
5-8 years in Product / UI/UX Design with a strong portfolio of shipped web and mobile products, ideally at a product company.
-
Expert-level Figma - auto-layout, variants, component properties, variables/modes, prototyping, and library publishing.
-
Hands-on experience with Figma Make or equivalent AI-assisted design-to-prototype tooling.
-
Proven experience building and scaling design systems and reusable component libraries.
-
Deep knowledge of WCAG, ARIA, inclusive design, iOS HIG, and Material Design.
-
Strong documentation, version control, and async collaboration in Agile/Scrum environments.
