Senior Software Engineer

• As part of the R&D organization, the OTT Streaming Engineer will join the Dynamic Ad Insertion (DAI) R&D team and will be responsible for:

• Developing core modules for VOD and Linear streaming, including video, audio, data processing, and packaging

• Designing highly scalable microservices architectures

• Ensuring product quality through unit, functional, and performance testing

• Analyzing and resolving product-related issues

• Proposing and implementing performance improvements and cost optimizations

Engineer or graduate in Computer Science, you are rigorous, proactive, diplomatic and have a team mindset.

Qualifications:

• Strong experience with programming languages C/C++, JavaScript

• Experience with software development on Linux platform

• Experience with scripting languages

• Good Communication skills

• Familiarity using Git

It would be even better if you have:

• Experience with OTT System/Transport layers: DASH, CMAF, HLS, MP4, TS

• Knowledge of Advertising and Linear rights standards: VAST, ESAM, SCTE-35, SCTE-224, SCTE-250, SCTE-130-3

• Knowledge of video standards: H.264/MPEG-4 AVC, HEVC

• Knowledge of OTT audio and subtitles standards

• Experience with DRM (e.g. Fairplay, PlayReady, Widevine)

• Experience with Docker and Microservices architecture

• Experience with Kubernetes

• Knowledge cloud platforms like AWS, Google Cloud or Azure

• Experience with Grafana and Prometheus
