Software Engineer

This is a multi-disciplined, diverse role, which drawing on your areas of specialism could include (but is not limited to):

• End to end involvement in projects from costing to commissioning.
• Software development for instrumentation and control systems.
• System architecture design and implementation.
• Hands on system testing, debugging and commissioning.
• Working on multiple projects both independently and as part of a team.

Do you have experience in Python?, Minimum:

• Minimum degree qualification or industry experience in software, control systems development or mechatronics.
• Experienced user of LabVIEW and/or Python.
• An effective and professional communicator.
• Be highly motivated to learn and keen apply their knowledge to new areas.
• Have good practical and problem-solving skills.
• The ability to see projects through from conception to completion.

Desired:

• PLC programming (Allen Bradley/Siemens).
• Experience with C++/Rust/JavaScript/TestStand.
• Electrical design, specifically industrial control and data acquisition.
• Knowledge of National Instruments hardware.
• Experience with selecting COTS hardware (Instrumentation, control etc) to meet requirements
• Project management skills to ensure projects run smoothly and on time.
