Job description
We're looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual who wants to kick-start their career in IT support within a fast-paced, growing business. This is an exciting opportunity to join our IT team as the first point of contact for all end user technical queries, gaining hands-on experience across a wide range of systems and technologies.
This role is ideal for someone at the beginning of their IT journey who is eager to learn, develop, and build a strong foundation in technical support while delivering excellent internal customer service.
What You'll Do
- Provide first-line technical support to end users, resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
- Manage password resets and user account administration
- Support and maintain our CRM platform (SugarCRM), including basic troubleshooting and user assistance
- Assist with day-to-day Microsoft 365 tools including Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and SharePoint
- Diagnose and resolve basic ICT issues across hardware, software, networking, and peripherals
- Log, track, and manage support tickets through the helpdesk system, escalating where necessary
- Set up and configure new user devices and support onboarding processes
- Maintain clear communication with users throughout issue resolution
Requirements
- A foundational understanding of IT/ICT systems and technologies
- Basic familiarity with Microsoft 365 applications
- Exposure to CRM systems is beneficial (SugarCRM experience is a plus, but not essential)
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- A proactive, can-do attitude with a willingness to learn
- Ability to prioritise workload and manage multiple requests, * A-Levels, BTEC, or equivalent in an IT-related subject - or relevant work experience, * Microsoft 365 applications: 1 year (required)
- SugarCRM: 1 year (preferred)
- Basic Troubleshooting : 1 year (required)
- 1st Line Support : 1 year (required)
