What You'll Do
Lead and grow a high performing engineering team delivering cross app in-product experiences
Drive end to end execution from ideation through experimentation, launch, and scaled adoption.
Partner with Product, Design, Growth, and Data to define roadmap priorities aligned with engagement, retention, and revenue outcomes.
Own the technical strategy for rapid prototyping, integrating capabilities into compelling, scalable, and commercially viable user workflows.
Establish a culture of analytics driven development, embedding experimentation, telemetry, and measurable success metrics into every feature.
Ensure performance, scalability, reliability, and observability are built into product design and implementation from the outset.
Translate business strategy and commercialization goals into clear technical execution plans, supporting monetization models and growth initiatives.
Hire, mentor, and develop exceptional engineers while fostering a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- 15+ years of software engineering experience with strong product development foundations.
- 7+ years of experience leading engineering teams delivering user facing applications at scale.
- Demonstrated experience supporting product growth, adoption, and commercialization initiatives.
- Strong understanding of analytics driven product development including experimentation frameworks and telemetry.
- Solid grounding in performance optimization, scalability, and production reliability.
- Experience with modern web technologies such as React, Web components, TypeScript, GraphQL, and cloud native architectures.
- Proven ability to translate ambiguous product and business goals into structured technical plans with measurable outcomes.
- Track record of mentoring engineers and building high trust, high accountability teams.

Expected Pay Range: Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this positionis $160,200 -- $320,000 annually. Paywithin this range varies by work locationand may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills,and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process. In California, the pay range for this position is $221,000 - $320,000
At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).
In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
