As a System Reliability & Support Specialist Sr within PNC's Technology organization, you will be based in Cleveland, OH. Pittsburgh, PA, Dallas, TX, Birmingham, AL.

The System Reliability & Support Specialist Sr is responsible for ensuring the availability, stability, and performance of PNC's Enterprise Garage applications through proactive monitoring, automation, and operational excellence. This role partners closely with Agile delivery teams to reduce incident risk, optimize service levels, and support reliable, scalable technology platforms., * Support Agile delivery through automation and Python-based solutions

  • Monitor and improve application reliability using Dynatrace observability
  • Administer and support Oracle databases and Linux/VM infrastructure
  • Manage cloud and containerized platforms, including Docker environments
  • Design and maintain ServiceNow workflows for incident, problem, and change management
  • Drive proactive monitoring and continuous improvement to minimize outages
  • Collaborate across technology teams to enhance system resilience and operational efficiency, * Monitor, maintain and support systems and software to ensure stability and compliance to technology standards.
  • Performs maintenance, including installation of patches and upgrades with an understanding of the production environment and goal of continuous availability.
  • Incident detection, resolution and/or escalation. Conducts root cause analysis and correction resulting in prevention.
  • Monitors systems availability, performance, and capacity against baseline metrics and reports trends. Reports out information to support stabilization.
  • Develops in depth knowledge of supported systems and applications and transfers knowledge to more junior staff.
  • Leads application governance, such as required attestations, continuity testing, impact analysis, responding to audit/regulatory inquiries and complying with technology standards.
