Job description
We are seeking a highly skilled Python Developer with strong backend engineering, cloud, and API development experience to join a fast-paced enterprise team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in building scalable microservices, secure REST APIs, cloud-native deployments, and exposure to modern AI/LLM technologies., * Design, develop, test, and integrate RESTful APIs using Python frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI
- Build secure, scalable, and high-performance backend solutions following enterprise security best practices
- Implement authentication and authorisation mechanisms using OAuth 2.0, Azure AD, JWT, and related security protocols
- Containerise applications using Docker and deploy microservices on AWS EKS/Kubernetes
- Work extensively with AWS services, including:
- EC2
- Lambda
- S3
- IAM
- KMS
- CloudWatch
- Optimise cloud infrastructure for security, scalability, and cost efficiency
- Develop and optimise complex SQL queries across:
- OLTP databases: Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server
- OLAP/Data Warehousing platforms: Snowflake, DuckDB, Redshift
- Implement caching mechanisms in Python APIs, including:
- TTL-based caching
- Cache invalidation
- Cache size management
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or similar DevOps tools
- Create automated test suites using Pytest
- Work with modern AI/LLM technologies, including:
- OpenAI / Azure OpenAI
- Gemini
- LangGraph workflows
- AI Agents
- Tokenisation concepts
- Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Architects, Tech Leads, and cross-functional teams in Agile environments.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable front-end applications using Angular.
Requirements
- Strong Python development experience
- Expertise with Django, Flask, or FastAPI
- Experience with REST API development and microservices architecture
- Strong AWS cloud experience
- Kubernetes/EKS and Docker experience
- Strong SQL and database optimization skills
- CI/CD and automated testing experience
- Exposure to AI/LLM integrations and agentic workflows
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
