Job description
- Install, configure, and manage SharePoint servers and related infrastructure components (web servers, databases, application servers).
- Manage and maintain SharePoint Online and/or SharePoint on-premises environments, including site collections, subsites, lists, libraries, and permissions.
- Configure and customize SharePoint front-end features, including web parts, pages, and navigation.
- Monitor SharePoint performance and troubleshoot front-end issues to ensure high availability and reliability.
- Implement and enforce governance policies, ensuring compliance with organizational standards and best practices.
- Provide end-user support for SharePoint-related issues, including troubleshooting and resolving front-end problems.
- Train users on SharePoint features, functionality, and best practices to enhance collaboration and productivity.
- Act as the primary point of contact for SharePoint-related inquiries and requests.
- Design and configure SharePoint sites to meet business requirements, ensuring a user-friendly and visually appealing interface.
- Create and manage site templates, workflows, and forms using tools like Power Automate, Power Apps, and SharePoint Designer.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and implement solutions that align with organizational goals.
Requirements
FedTec is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented SharePoint Back-End Administrator to manage, maintain, and enhance our SharePoint environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day administration of SharePoint sites, ensuring optimal performance, user accessibility, and compliance with organizational standards. This role focuses on front-end administration, including site design, user support, and collaboration with technical teams to deliver a seamless SharePoint experience., * Proven experience administering SharePoint on-premises or online environments.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in SharePoint administration, with a focus on front-end management.
- Hands-on experience with SharePoint Online, SharePoint 2016/2019, or SharePoint Subscription Edition
- Proficiency in configuring and managing SharePoint sites, lists, libraries, and permissions.
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 tools, including Teams, OneDrive, and Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps).
- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for front-end customization
- Certification requirement: CompTIA Security+CE
