Job description

The TRG Manufacturing Search Division seeks a Design Engineer to join a leading global OEM equipment manufacturer as the team continues to grow at this plant. With plans to double output over the next three years, this high-visibility role offers strong career growth potential within a world-class organization serving fast-growing markets, including data centers and industrial process sectors.

As a Design Engineer, you will be responsible for the overall design of heat exchangers for contract orders, ensuring each unit meets ASME Code requirements and customer specifications. You will perform design calculations, validate design accuracy, create general arrangement and manufacturing drawings, develop bills of material, and maintain document control records. This role also provides technical support to Project Managers and manufacturing personnel, helping ensure projects stay on track and milestones are met. It is a strong opportunity for someone who wants visibility, growth, and the chance to make an impact in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Requirements

  • BS in Engineering, preferably Mechanical, or similar technical background.
  • 3+ years of hands-on heat exchanger and/or pressure vessel design experience.
  • Comfortable with ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code, including Section VIII and Section IX.
  • Familiar with IBC, CBC, ANSI, and related design standards.
  • Strong with calculations, drawing packages, and technical documentation.
  • Proficient with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or Inventor.
  • Microsoft Office and ERP/MRP experience is a plus
  • Clear communicator who works well across teams and with customers.
