Job description
- Design and architect advanced assistant and agentic frameworks by using the latest LLMs, VLLMs, and MLLMs.
- Oversee technical strategy for the development of scalable platforms supporting diverse applications, with a focus on image and multimedia domains.
- Collaborate effectively with product, research, engineering, and design teams to ensure architectural alignment with business objectives and user requirements.
- Mentor and guide a team of engineers and scientists, promoting innovation and maintaining high standards of technical excellence.
- Drive innovation by staying ahead of SOTA technologies in generative AI, multimodal models, and agentic systems.
- Transform conceptual designs into scalable, production-ready solutions that create meaningful impact for users.
- Communicate clearly with partners at all levels, including executives and technical peers, tailoring messages to various audiences.
- Define and implement the vision, roadmap, and architecture for agent orchestration, tool usage, memory, and scalable evaluation-ensuring all solutions are robust, scalable, and aligned with both business and user goals.
Requirements
We are in search of a visionary Technical Architect with extensive knowledge in developing advanced creative assistants and agentic frameworks. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of innovative AI technologies and real-world product delivery. You will be tasked with developing scalable, adaptable systems that drive multimodal agentic systems, especially in areas involving image and multimedia editing., * 10+ years of industry experience in software architecture, AI systems, or related fields.
- A Graduate degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or related field.
- Demonstrated expertise in developing and implementing assistant or autonomous systems on a large scale.
- Deep understanding of transformer-based models, LLMs, VLLMs, MLLMs, and multimodal learning.
- Strong background in distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, and scalable platform design.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Track record of delivering innovative solutions from concept to production., * Experience with image and multimedia editing platforms.
- Familiarity with open-source agentic frameworks and orchestration tools.
- Contributions to research or open-source projects in AI or agentic systems.
- Experience working in fast-paced, multi-functional environments.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $206,400 -- $379,100 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.
In California, the pay range for this position is $261,800 - $379,100 In New York, the pay range for this position is $261,800 - $379,100 In Massachusetts, the pay range for this position is $229,500 - $332,250 In Washington, the pay range for this position is $242,600 - $351,225
At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).
In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
