Sr. Linux Systems Administrator

An employer in the Dayton, OH area is seeking a Senior Linux Administrator for a contract to hire opportunity. This individual will be responsible but not limited to the following: work alongside other administrators to work to containerize applications and deploy them into the cloud. Will be supporting a highly visible project for a government customer for the latest cutting-edge technologies. (Working with Kubernetes, AWS, and benchmarking to develop this special project) Will be required to sit on site 5 days/week at the base and have the ability to obtain TS/SCI Security DoD clearance.

Ability to obtain a TS/SCI security clearance Bachelor's Degree (STEM preferred) or 6 YOE in lieu of 10+ years of experience in systems administration (Linux) Active Security+, CASP+ or IAT Level II certification

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Active TS/SCI Security clearance (DoD) Experience implementing cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, etc. Experience working with Harbor Experience maintaining CI/CD pipelines Experience with VMware Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
