Job description
- Design and develop integrated network solutions including hardware, software, and telecommunications systems.
- Plan, build, test, and implement network systems across diverse platforms and architectures.
- Configure and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, and cloud-based networking components.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex network and infrastructure issues.
- Oversee installation and integration of network hardware and layered software solutions.
- Ensure network performance, scalability, and security meet organizational and client requirements.
- Monitor bandwidth utilization and optimize network capacity and performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support enterprise IT initiatives.
- Lead or contribute to network and infrastructure projects, including acting as a technical lead when required.
- Develop and maintain detailed documentation for network architecture, configurations, and procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in network engineering or infrastructure roles.
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPNs.
- Experience designing and managing enterprise network environments.
- Hands-on experience with AWS networking services such as VPC, Direct Connect, Route 53, and Transit Gateway.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues.
- Experience with firewalls, load balancers, and network security best practices., * Industry certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, or AWS Certified Advanced Networking.
- Experience working in hybrid cloud environments.
- Familiarity with automation tools and scripting languages such as Python or Terraform.
- Experience leading projects or mentoring junior engineers.
