Job description
- Design, configure, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure in a data center environment
- Administer and optimize Cisco IOS and/or Cisco NX-OS systems
- Configure and manage VLANs, routing protocols, and network security settings
- Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements to ensure high availability and reliability
- Support and enhance network architecture for hybrid cloud platforms
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment to deliver scalable solutions
- Implement best practices for network security, segmentation, and access control
- Document configurations, processes, and network changes
Requirements
- Active TS/SCI with Polygraph required.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in network engineering within a data center environment
- Strong hands-on experience with Cisco IOS and/or Cisco NX-OS
- Proven experience configuring and managing:VLANs
- Routing (e.g., OSPF, BGP, EIGRP)
- Network security settings (ACLs, segmentation, etc.)
- Experience with Cisco implementations, including optimizing network performance and operations
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment
