We are looking for a results-driven Systems Architect to join the Nuclear Command, Control, and Communicions (NC3) Enterprise Center team Fort Meade, MD.

The NC3 Enterprise Center serves as the Department of Defense's lead organizion for enterprise-level systems engineering and architecture for NC3. Under the leadership of the Commander, U.S. Stregic Command (USSTRATCOM), the team leverages subject mter expertise and best practices to transform mission and operional requirements into effective solutions and capabilities.

As a Systems Architect, you will collabore closely with customers to design, implement, and maintain scalable system architectures th meet operional requirements, ensure compliance, and support future cross-functional capabilities.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Change Management and Configurion Control Development: Advise and assist the Government in developing the Change Management (CM) and Configurion Control (CC) NEC Directive, including authoritive criteria and standards for NC3 Configurion Items (CIs).

  • Analysis and Reporting for Configurion Control Boards: Produce analysis reports for the NC3 Enterprise Change Advisory Panel by tending Configurion Control Boards (CCBs) and configurion management groups. Review NC3 Engineering Change Requests (ECRs), Operional Certificion Packages (OCPs), and associed artifacts to provide actionable insights and recommendions.

  • Digital Engineering Stregy Execution: Develop and execute the digital engineering stregy for the NC3 Enterprise Configurion Management in coordinion with NEC divisions. Ensure the stregy includes automed workflows, federed da frameworks, and tools to support digital transformion.

  • Continuous Improvement Recommendions: Advise the Government on continuous improvement recommendions to the Systems Engineering Rubric for evaluing the merits of new or enhanced NC3 capabilities. Provide insights to refine processes and improve the evaluion framework for system upgrades and enhancements.

  • Development of Acceptance Criteria: Advise and assist the Government in developing acceptance criteria constructs, including detailed checklists, for the review of Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) and OCPs.

  • Configurion Management Plan and Baseline Maintenance: Maintain the NC3 Configurion Management Plan and the NC3 Configurion Management Baseline to ensure alignment with enterprise standards and operional requirements.

Requirements

  • Security Clearance: Top Secret/SCI clearance (mandory).
  • Educion: BA or BS in Engineering, Computer Science, or educional equivalent
  • Experience: 5+ years in establishing system informion requirements, designing architecture - including software, hardware and communicions - to support total requirements and provide for present and future cross-functional requirements and interfaces, evaluing problems of workflows and organizion, and developing approprie corrective actions.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and collaborion tools (MS Teams, SharePoint).
  • Communicion: Strong written/verbal skills for technical documention and presentions.
  • Work Style: Ability to manage multiple tasks in an agile, dynamic environment.

Desired Qualificions

  • Experience with systems engineering and enterprise architecture for high assurance communicions systems.
  • Background in NC3 architecture/performance analysis and engineering design.
  • Knowledge of Nional Leadership Command Capability (NLCC) or Senior Leader Command, Control, and Communicions Systems (SLC3S).

Experience collaboring with NC3 stakeholders including Air Force, Navy, NC3 Enterprise Center, USSTRATCOM, USCYBERCOM, Joint Staff, and OSD.
