Software Engineer Java Microservices & Cloud

We are seeking a Software Engineer to design and maintain high-scale platform services supporting identity management, onboarding processes, and device lifecycle operations. This is a hands-on role focused on building secure, resilient, and highly available distributed systems in a cloud-based environment., * Take end-to-end ownership of software services and supporting platforms

• Design and deploy reactive microservices using Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate JPA, and Kubernetes
• Build and maintain high-performance REST and gRPC APIs using Swagger and Postman
• Refactor APIs and microservices to improve scalability, efficiency, and simplicity
• Manage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub, Argo, SonarQube, and Fossa
• Follow Test Driven Development (TDD) and clean coding practices
• Implement canary deployment strategies for production environments
• Perform API load and performance testing to ensure system resiliency
• Monitor platform health using Datadog, Prometheus, and Grafana
• Participate in anomaly detection and incident diagnostics processes
• Support critical applications in a high-availability production environment
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on integration, testing, and issue resolution
• Participate in architectural discussions and solution design sessions
• Identify and adopt new technologies to meet evolving business needs
• Contribute to technical best practices and team efficiency improvements

• 5+ years of experience in cloud-based development using Java and Spring Boot
• 3+ years of experience with cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform, AWS, or Azure
• Experience with Java reactive programming
• Hands-on experience with microservices architecture and Kubernetes
• Experience with Apache Kafka and PostgreSQL
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, gRPC, JSON, Swagger, and Postman
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and practices
• Knowledge of cloud security concepts such as OAuth2, OIDC, and SAML
• Experience supporting high-availability, always-on production systems
• Strong understanding of modern software architecture and cloud computing
• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
