Requirements

  • Ensure required vulnerability scans meet the standards required to obtain and maintain an ATO from the Authorizing Official. \n
  • A strong working knowledge of RMF.\n
  • Experience in applying security principles to all states of system development from requirements development through operational acceptance.\n
  • Experience in conducting information systems security assessments, evaluating IA and Cybersecurity controls, and conducting and supporting RMF activities.\n
  • Experience with Operational Air Force or Space Force systems.\n
  • Experience with ACAS, Xacta and / or eMASS.\n
  • Experience and/or certifications associated with RMF, ICD 503, NIST SP800-53 \n
  • Experience in current authorization practices, particularly within the DoD\n
  • Experience in accreditation of Windows, Linux, Cisco, SQL or Oracle databases, virtualized systems, Red Hat Enterprise License (RHEL) Linux 7, ACAS, Tenable systems.\n
  • Must be a US Citizen and actively possess a Top Secret SCI security clearance.\n, * Knowledge of ATOs and required security controls for DoD networks\n
  • Previous experience working with cyber teams to gain ATOs\n
  • Experience with AF Special programs\n
  • Experience with DoD systems\n

Benefits & conditions

You will provide ISSE support to the program and a secure communications and data transfer network that consists of a series of unclassified networks that are being designed, built, and installed. You will also be responsible for providing cyber expertise for updates and tech refreshes during the development phase that require engineering and security architecture design, integration and install, test, and deploy to operations. You will be ensuring cybersecurity is applied to our secure communications operational data transfer between various sites with security adequate to protect information; designing, installing, administering, and maintaining secure communications capabilities between existing sites; and, providing Operations and Maintenance (O&M) documentation and training. \nThis position 85% remote but will require travel to the customer site on Warner Robins Air Force Base in Warner Robin GA. Ideal candidate will be local to the Warner Robins area.\n \n \nBasic Qualifications:\n \n \n

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or other technical discipline and 10 or more years of prior relevant experience.\n
  • Any one of the following DoD Manual 8140.03 certifications: Security+, CASP, CISSP\n
  • Design and implement technical security controls, identify and remediate vulnerabilities, and advice to Information System Security Managers (ISSMs), and Program Managers.\n
  • Provide cybersecurity expertise and knowledge to implement the System Security Plan.\n
  • Create the Security Assessment Report.\n
  • Create Plan of Action and Milestones\n
  • Implement Plans of Actions and Milestones\n
