Job description

Join our dynamic team as a Senior Software Engineer, where you'll play a crucial role in enhancing the capabilities of our Commercial Lending business. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with both business and technology teams to develop and support innovative solutions. Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain clean, testable code for assigned projects.
  • Resolve system and client experience issues across various platforms.
  • Mentor and train junior engineers, fostering a collaborative environment.
  • Stay updated on industry trends in banking and technology.
  • Ensure compliance with information security standards during code development.
  • Participate in testing and evaluating new technologies.
  • Utilize technical documentation and project artifacts effectively.
  • Adhere to established standards and best practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business or technology-related field or equivalent experience.
  • Proficiency in developing and supporting components of applications or platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of relational databases and SQL programming.
  • Experience with .Net, C#, and SQL - Oracle.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in commercial lending and understanding of the loan lifecycle.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Familiarity with Agile software development methodology.
  • Experience working with geographically diverse teams.
  • Knowledge of JIRA, Git lab, and cloud architecture.
  • Advanced understanding of .Net, ASP.NET, MVC, SQL - Oracle, and C#.
