Job description
As the Director of IT, you will be responsible for overseeing the organization's complete technology landscape, ensuring secure, compliant, and scalable IT operations that support manufacturing, quality, laboratory, supply chain, and corporate business functions., Strategic IT Leadership: Develop and implement long-term IT strategy aligned with business objectives Partner with executive leadership on technology investments and innovation initiatives Drive digital transformation through automation, cloud solutions, and advanced analytics Establish IT governance, standards, and enterprise policies
Infrastructure & Operations: Lead management of networks, servers, cloud platforms, and end-user systems Ensure system reliability, performance, scalability, and security Oversee disaster recovery, backup, and business continuity planning Support both corporate and manufacturing technology environments
Regulatory Compliance & Data Integrity: Ensure compliance with FDA, GMP, 21 CFR Part 11, and data integrity standards Support validation of enterprise systems in manufacturing, quality, and laboratory settings Maintain audit readiness, documentation, and change control processes Collaborate with Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs teams
Enterprise Applications: Oversee ERP, MES, LIMS, QMS, and document management systems Manage upgrades, integrations, and lifecycle planning Ensure business systems effectively support operational and strategic goals
Cybersecurity & Risk Management: Develop and maintain enterprise cybersecurity programs Protect business-critical and sensitive data Conduct risk assessments, vulnerability management, and incident response planning Ensure security compliance across all systems and platforms
Team Leadership & Vendor Management: Lead, mentor, and develop IT teams across infrastructure, applications, and support Manage third-party vendors, consultants, and technology partners Negotiate contracts and oversee service-level agreements
Budget & Resource Management: Manage departmental budgets and technology investments Prioritize initiatives based on strategic value and ROI Optimize resources for operational efficiency and future growth
Requirements
This is an excellent full-time leadership opportunity for senior IT professionals with strong experience in regulated industries, enterprise systems, compliance, and operational excellence., Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field Master's degree preferred 10+ years of progressive IT experience, including executive or senior leadership roles Experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, or regulated manufacturing strongly preferred Strong expertise in GMP systems, compliance, cybersecurity, cloud technologies, and enterprise applications Proven experience managing complex IT operations and strategic initiatives Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
