Job description

In order to support a digital transformation within the Retail & B2B department, we are looking for an Interim UX Designer. You will be part of the digital team of the Customer Channel department. Applying a Design Thinking approach, you will work closely with service designers, UX designers, UI designers, UX copywriters, UX researchers, product owners, and developers. As a UX Designer, you will co-design intuitive, human-centered interfaces across a range of digital products and touchpoints, including experiences where AI-assisted capabilities play a role. You will be responsible for ensuring the coherence of the customer journey across residential, professional, and large company segments: designing and improving digital interfaces that are useful, usable, and coherent.

The mission will mainly be performed in Brussels. It starts as soon as possible and will last about 9 to 12 months, depending on the evolution of the department.

Requirements

  • Strong skills in wireframing, prototyping, and user flow mapping across web and app environments
  • Proficient in journey mapping, interaction design, and visual storytelling to communicate concepts clearly to stakeholders
  • Creativity and vision to design innovative, user-centered solutions across conventional and AI-assisted touchpoints
  • Familiarity with AI interaction patterns (conversational interfaces, adaptive UI) is a plus
  • Good level of English (Dutch or French is a plus)
  • Min 5 years experience in UX design and in applying design thinking
  • Mastery of Figma for wireframing, prototyping, and design system creation
  • Proficient with collaborative tools like Miro for journey mapping and workshop facilitation
  • Comfortable creating interactive prototypes that simulate AI interactions
  • Understanding of AI-assisted user experiences and adaptive interface patterns
