Data Science Consultant

You'll work across the full data science lifecycle, partnering closely with clients and delivery teams to build analytical solutions that drive commercial and operational impact.

Typical work includes:

• Advanced analytics, machine learning and predictive modelling
• Operational research, optimisation and simulation modelling
• Geospatial and spatial data analytics
• Translating business problems into analytical frameworks
• Building and deploying scalable data science solutions
• Presenting insights and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Working alongside data engineering, product and platform teams in agile delivery environments

Tech Environment

• Python, SQL, R
• Machine learning and statistical modelling
• Databricks, Spark, cloud platforms
• Data visualisation and reporting tools
• Modern analytics and AI environments

• Commercial experience in data science, analytics or modelling environments
• Strong quantitative and problem-solving capability
• Ability to communicate complex ideas clearly to stakeholders
• Experience working across consulting, client-facing or project-based environments is highly beneficial
• Backgrounds in Operational Research, mathematics, engineering, physics, statistics or geospatial analytics are particularly relevant

Degree, MSc or PhD level education in a quantitative discipline would typically be expected.
