Job description
- Provide both onsite and remote technical support for hardware, software, and network issues with a focus on Windows systems and Office 365
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and peripherals
- Follow and document onboarding and offboarding procedures for users and organizations
- Respond to user inquiries and resolve technical problems in a timely manner
- Collaborate with team members to identify and implement solutions to improve client IT systems and processes
- Document and maintain accurate records of IT issues through the use of ticketing system and knowledge base
- Maintain and build upon documentation bases
Requirements
- 1-3 years of experience in a Helpdesk, technical support, or general IT role preferred
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, or another related field
- Customer Service experience preferred
- Strong troubleshooting skills across software applications and operating systems
- Solid understanding of computer networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, LAN/WAN architecture, VPNs, firewalls, and network security best practices.
- Solid understanding of Windows operating systems, Active Directory, and Office 365
- Knowledge of computer hardware components and peripherals along with basic maintenance procedures.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical users.
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+
