Power Platform Developer

Arete Consulting is seeking a Power Platform Developer to design, implement, and support custom business applications using Microsoft's Power Platform. The position requires working closely with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and develop effective solutions that streamline processes and enhance operational efficiency. Ideal candidates possess strong experience with Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI, along with the ability to design intuitive interfaces and robust data flows.

Responsibilities:

• Power Platform Development:
• Independently design, develop, and deploy Power Apps applications tailored to business requirements.
• Automate workflows and integrate systems using Power Automate to drive process improvements.
• Develop interactive dashboards and reports with Power BI to provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
• Solution Design and Customization:
• Work with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications that align with functional requirements.
• Customize solutions to meet client needs, including custom connectors, Power BI integration, and API integrations.
• Implement best practices in app design and user experience to ensure solutions are effective and easy to use.
• Maintenance and Troubleshooting:
• Provide ongoing support and maintenance for deployed Power Platform applications.
• Identify, diagnose, and resolve technical issues to ensure application reliability and performance.
• Continuously enhance solutions by incorporating feedback and optimizing workflows.

• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in Power Platform development or a similar role working with Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI. 7+ years of experience producing SOPs, quick reference cards, and one-pagers.
• Proficient in Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
• Ability to independently design, build, and implement solutions from start to finish.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Dataverse, SharePoint, and Dynamics 365 for app integration.
• Familiarity with data querying languages, such as SQL, and experience with APIs and custom connectors.
• Understanding of Azure services, including Azure Functions, is a plus
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex information clearly to stakeholders across functions.
• Microsoft Certified: Power Platform App Maker or Power Platform Developer is preferred.
• Experience with Agile project management methodologies is preferred.
