Job description
We are seeking a AV Support Manager - IT Service Desk to join our team. This position is located in Washington DC and it is a hybrid role. The AV Support Manager is responsible for managing and delivering enterprise audio-visual services supporting government facilities, conference rooms, executive meetings, and mission-critical events., * Oversee day-to-day AV support operations across government facilities.
- Support executive-level meetings, events, and high-visibility briefings.
- Coordinate AV system testing, troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and upgrades.
- Manage AV vendor relationships and escalation activities.
- Provide technical guidance and training for AV tools and collaboration platforms.
- Maintain and update AV documentation, procedures, and user guides.
- Track AV system performance metrics and report service effectiveness.
Requirements
- 7+ years supporting enterprise AV systems
- 3+ years supporting AV services in a government or regulated environment
- Experience supporting executive-level or mission-critical meetings
Required Certifications
- Certified Technology Specialist (CTS
- CTS-I or CTS-D (Installation or Design)
Requied Technologies
- Enterprise AV systems (conference room hardware, displays, microphones, cameras)
- Video conferencing platforms (Microsoft Teams Rooms, Zoom, Webex)
- AV ecosystems (Crestron, Extron, Poly, or equivalent)
- Network-connected AV technologies and troubleshooting concepts

Physical and Mental Qualifications:
- Maintain focus and awareness throughout scheduled working hours.
- Perform tasks requiring prolonged periods of sitting or standing at a desk, utilizing a computer, mouse, and keyboard.
- Lift and move objects weighing up to 15 pounds as needed.
- Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a strong command of the English language.
