Job description

  • Design, configure, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure (LAN, WLAN, WAN, firewalls, switches, VPNs).
  • Lead or co-lead major infrastructure projects (network redesigns, migrations, hardware upgrades).
  • Monitor and optimize network performance, ensuring high availability and reliability.
  • Implement and maintain network security (firewalls, access controls, patch management).
  • Support Windows Server environments and VMware virtualization.
  • Administer DNS, DHCP, and Active Directory.
  • Provide Tier III support for escalated technical issues.
  • Collaborate with IT leadership on infrastructure planning and long-term strategy.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of progressive experience in enterprise network and systems administration.
  • Strong background in enterprise networking and virtualization (VMware).
  • Experience with network monitoring and diagnostic tools.
  • Familiarity with cloud and hybrid infrastructure is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in IT or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Preferred certifications: Cisco CCNA/CCNP, CompTIA Network+, VMware VCP.

  • Advanced knowledge of network protocols/services (TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, DNS, DHCP).
  • Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills.
