Requirements
- Associate degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent technical training
- Active Cisco Certified Network Associate certification preferred. Recently expired certification or equivalent hands on networking experience is acceptable
- Minimum of five years of experience working in Information Systems, preferably in healthcare environments
- Minimum of three years of practical networking experience supporting Cisco based projects
- Experience troubleshooting and configuring local area network infrastructures including Spanning Tree Protocol, EtherChannel or Port Channel configurations, Dot1Q trunking, Virtual LAN Trunking Protocol, 802.1x, Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol, and Downloadable Access Control Lists
- Experience troubleshooting wide area network infrastructures including Virtual Routing and Forwarding, routing protocols, IP access control lists, and leased circuits
- Experience troubleshooting Authentication, Authorization, and Accounting and TACACS plus
- Experience designing IP addressing schemes
- Experience troubleshooting client and network connectivity issues
- Experience configuring Simple Network Management Protocol monitoring and loggingTools and Technologies: Cisco switching and routing platforms
