The Commercial Data Change Manager acts as a strategic integrator and orchestrator of cross-functional initiatives. This role is responsible for driving initiatives that span multiple workstreams within and outside the Commercial Excellence organization. The primary focus is to identify, prioritize, and resolve operational issues that impact either the customer experience or internal resource efficiency. By aligning teams, processes, and systems, this role ensures a seamless customer journey and optimized internal operations., Customer & Operational Focus: Identify and solve operational pain points that hinder customer satisfaction or resource efficiency.
Issue Resolution & Root Cause Analysis: Serve as the primary escalation point for complex operational challenges; lead root cause investigations and implement corrective actions.
Cross-Functional Leadership: Coordinate initiatives involving two or more workstreams across Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Customer Service. This includes full project lifecycle management (planning, tasking, and monitoring).
Strategic Alignment: Partner with the Commercial Data Working Group (CDWG) and leadership to ensure all data initiatives align with broader organizational goals and customer-centric strategies.
Process Optimization: Continuously analyze and improve workflows to enhance the speed, quality, and cost-effectiveness of commercial operations.
Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with Data Governance Leads, Product Managers, and Master Data Leads to foster accountability and collaboration.
Meeting Governance & Hygiene: Organize and lead structured meetings with clear agendas and defined outcomes. Proactively manage action items and escalate delays to ensure project momentum.
Performance Measurement: Establish and monitor KPIs for operational initiatives, reporting the direct impact on customer experience and resource utilization to leadership.
Requirements
Minimum: 7+ years of professional experience.
Focus Areas: Program management, operational excellence, or cross-functional leadership roles within a commercial environment.
Data Literacy: Proven experience working alongside Data Governance and Master Data teams.
