Job description

  • The Desktop Support Specialist will provide technical support for desktop systems, hardware, and applications across the organization.
  • The role involves configuring, deploying, and maintaining computer systems while ensuring compliance with organizational standards.
  • The position requires troubleshooting technical issues, supporting end users, and managing IT assets effectively., * Configure and deploy new PCs using standard software and imaging tools.
  • Reimage and redeploy systems ensuring data security.
  • Maintain inventory and verify incoming equipment accuracy.
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues for end users.
  • Provide support for desktop applications and operating systems.
  • Collaborate with IT teams for installations and technical support.
  • Coordinate with vendors for hardware repairs and warranty services.
  • Provide loaner equipment when necessary.
  • Perform incident management and service requests.
  • Support system upgrades, installations, and documentation.
  • Monitor system tools and analyze trends to proactively manage systems.
  • Ensure proper disposal of electronic waste according to policy.

Should Have:

  • MCSE certification preferred.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience in a technical support role.
  • Experience with desktop operating systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience troubleshooting hardware including PCs, printers, and monitors.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Experience with Mac operating systems including iOS devices.
  • Valid driver s license and ability to travel to remote sites.

Experience:

  • Experience with imaging and configuring desktop systems.
  • Experience with IT asset inventory and lifecycle management.
  • Experience working with service desk and vendor support teams., * Strong troubleshooting and technical support skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills.

Qualification And Education:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
