Job description

Onshore Lead for DBA Managed Services involving Oracle SQL Server Aurora PostgreSQL MySQL DynamoDB Kinetica Snowflake Vector and Document JSON databases across multi cloud platforms AWS OCI Azure Google Cloud Platform., * Strategic Client Partnership Act as the primary technical advisor for the client database roadmap and translate business requirements into multi cloud architectures across AWS OCI Azure and Google Cloud Platform.

Global Delivery Governance Manage and mentor an offshore team of L1 L2 engineers ensure SLAs and OLAs are met and drive continuous service improvement initiatives.
Escalation and Crisis Management Serve as the ultimate technical authority for Severity 1 incidents lead recovery and root cause analysis for complex outages involving cross platform dependencies.
Architectural Oversight Review and approve high level designs for Snowflake data warehousing Kinetica real time analytics and high velocity DynamoDB or document JSON environments.
Cost and Multi Cloud Optimization Drive cloud FinOps by optimizing license usage for Oracle and SQL Server and right sizing instances across cloud providers to minimize cost while maintaining performance.

Technical Mastery:

Relational Databases Expert level knowledge of Oracle OCI RAC and SQL Server Azure AlwaysOn along with cloud native Aurora PostgreSQL MySQL.
Modern Data Stack Deep understanding of Snowflake data warehousing DynamoDB and DocumentDB NoSQL JSON and Kinetica vector streaming.
Automation Lead Champion infrastructure as code using Terraform or Ansible to standardize deployments across AWS OCI Azure and Google Cloud Platform

Requirements

Experience 10 plus years in database administration and management with 4 plus years leading multi cloud managed services teams.
Leadership Proven ability to manage onshore offshore models and handle high pressure stakeholder communication
