Software Test Engineer - Pump Systems

• Direct the development and optimization of integrated test strategies for cardiovascular pump hardware.
• Author formal test protocols aligned with evolving embedded software revisions and system requirements.
• Program automated test scripts to facilitate repetitive, data-driven, and command-based system validation.
• Perform physical hardware lab testing involving fault injection, stress, and edge-case scenarios.
• Evaluate complex test datasets to identify root causes, technical risks, and performance metrics.
• Maintain rigorous documentation of verification procedures and results for regulatory compliance.
• Interface with multidisciplinary engineering teams to troubleshoot hardware interactions and validate results.

• 8 or more years of experience in medical device software and hardware integration testing.
• Proficiency in Class II or Class III medical device verification and validation (V&V) protocols.
• Experience with cardiovascular pump systems, electromechanical motors, and sensor hardware.
• Experience in developing automated test scripts and tools for embedded firmware validation.
• Experience with laboratory instrumentation including oscilloscopes, multimeters, and power supplies.
• Experience with fault injection, stress testing, and edge-case scenario execution in a lab.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
