Senior Embedded Software Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Embedded Software Engineer to join our client's connectivity software team. This role involves contributing to the development of embedded connectivity solutions for medical and health devices, supporting both proof-of-concept projects and production releases to meet customer needs worldwide. Responsibilities

• Conduct proof-of-concept experiments, evaluate new chipsets, and support initial hardware development.
• Design and develop embedded C++ software for connectivity platforms across various devices.
• Participate in requirements gathering, system design, implementation, testing, and software release cycles.
• Ensure software meets quality standards and complies with relevant regulations.
• Review designs and code, and contribute to failure mode and effect analysis (FMEAs).
• Create automated unit and integration tests within established frameworks.
• Estimate workload, contribute to planning, and manage personal and team backlogs.
• Document software thoroughly, including design decisions and PoC results.
• Collaborate effectively with electronics engineers on hardware validation and board bring-up.
• Support rapid development cycles and facilitate efficient decision-making.

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
